Where to charter for Bastille Day
The French national day, in the middle of the Riviera season. Every port along the coast puts on fireworks, and a yacht is the seat everyone else is looking at.
The date above is the travel window minus 55 days. Our own enquiries put the median gap between first contact and departure at 40 days, so this has you looking early rather than late.

Why these charter grounds suit the dates
France
May is the Riviera's marquee month – the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix back to back – while June and September offer the same coastline with quieter anchorages.
Monaco
Grand Prix week in late May is the principality's defining charter moment – berths book out months ahead, with the Yacht Show closing the season in late September.
Italy
June and September are the connoisseur's months on the Amalfi Coast and in Sardinia – warm seas, open berths and the coast at its most relaxed.
Spain
The Balearics run on gentle thermal breezes – Mallorca and Menorca for coves and calm, Ibiza and Formentera for the season's social calendar.
Croatia
Expect glassy mornings and a reliable afternoon maestral – ideal rhythm for island-hopping the Dalmatian coast between Split and Dubrovnik.
Greece
The Ionian offers calm, sheltered waters ideal for families, while the Cyclades reward experienced crews when the meltemi blows in high summer.
