Feng Sailing Catamaran

Scuba equipment can be brought aboard Feng on advance request, so guests who dive have that open to them, and with four crew looking after eight guests there is a crew member for every two people on board. She is a 72ft (22m) sailing catamaran from Sunreef Yachts, built in 2013 and refitted in 2023.

Water toys

Two Sea Scooters travel with her, and two kayaks and two paddleboards let guests go out on the water under their own power. Inflatable floats, a day bed, a donut and a towing duck come too, with snorkelling gear for a look below the surface.

Where she cruises

Her home port is in the Whitsundays, on the coast of Australia, and the beaches of Byron Bay and Hamilton Island are within her reach as well, sand to swim from and walk on. Her grounds run beyond Australia to New Zealand and Fiji.

Accommodation

Four cabins, each with its own bathroom and its own air conditioning, sleep eight guests overnight; the beds are a king, a double and two twins.

Comfort under way

She is at her best under sail, where cruising and top speed are both 10 knots, and her peak months are January, February and December.

On deck

The jacuzzi on the sun deck is out in the open air, and there is a bar and a lounge for the group to gather in. Three dining areas give the group more than a single place to eat, and the full kitchen handles meals aboard.

Charter notes

Feng suits a family or a group of friends of eight who want the water close at hand, and hire runs by the week, by three days or by the day. Up to 36 guests can be aboard for a day out, many more than the eight who sleep.
