My Maria Luxury Catamaran

A deck jacuzzi sets the tone aboard My Maria: hot water to sit in, out in the open, with the sea in view. She is a 60ft (18m) luxury catamaran from Sunreef Yachts, new in 2025, with teak laid across her decks and her flybridge.

On deck

Her flybridge is an open-air space for lounging and sunbathing, a bimini gives shade, and a large lounge on the foredeck adds a further place to sit outdoors. Meals can be cooked in the open on the barbecue, a swim platform puts the water a step away, and a deck shower rinses off the salt after a swim. She makes her own fresh water with a watermaker, carries solar panels, and has a washer and dryer aboard, so clothes and towels can be washed without a trip ashore.

Water toys

She carries six toys. A stand-up paddleboard and a kayak give a way to paddle away from her, floaters give the lazier option of lying in the water, and a Seabob comes along as well. Snorkelling gear opens up what lies under the surface, fishing tackle puts a line over the side, and her dinghy carries guests ashore.

Where she cruises

Lefkada, in Greece, is her home port, with Corfu as a further base, and July and August are her high summer. My Maria's cruising ground is the Ionian side of Greece: the Ionian Islands, which lie off the west coast of the mainland and sit close to each other, so the passages between them are short. Paxos has water with an emerald tint, Zakynthos has Shipwreck Beach at Navagio, and Kefalonia has its anchorages, while Venetian, French and British rule left the island towns their architecture and their cooking. The water is clear enough for sea turtles and reef fish to be seen through a snorkel.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests, a king in a single cabin and queens in the other three, each with its own bathroom and large windows to let daylight in, and air conditioning keeps them cool. She carries the same eight by day as she sleeps overnight. A crew of three sails her, cooks and keeps house, and the main saloon has panoramic windows and deep seating, so the view stays in sight from inside.

Comfort under way

Her hulls are drawn for stability and low drag, which gives her a smooth motion under sail, and she cruises at 9 knots and can make 11.

Charter notes

My Maria suits a family or a group of friends who want the sea close at hand rather than seen from a distance. The shortest hire is three days, and she is also taken by the week, so a shorter stay in her islands is as open to them as a full week is.
