Hutiane Sailing Catamaran

Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design drew the exterior of Hutiane, and N.A.C. built her in 2011 as a 102ft (31m) sailing catamaran, with a refit behind her in 2015.

Water toys

Two Seadoo Spark jet skis put a pair of riders out at once, while the paddleboards and kayaks offer a slower way across the same water. A banana towable and inflatables, a trampoline among them, extend the swimming, snorkelling gear opens up what lies under the surface, and there is tackle aboard for fishing. An 18ft Capelli tender takes guests ashore.

Where she cruises

Cannes is her home port in France, and her cruising also takes in the waters of Monaco and Italy.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins take eleven guests overnight, and six crew run her, so the hands aboard nearly match the party they look after and the service stays personal.

Comfort under way

She settles at 9 knots and can press on to 13 when there is ground to cover, using 120 litres an hour.

On deck

Hutiane, whose peak months are July and August, carries a deck jacuzzi for warm water in the open air, and her swim platform makes the step down into the sea a short one.

Charter notes

A week's hire suits two couples travelling together or a family, and by day she can carry thirty, so a group larger than the number sleeping aboard can join her on the water.
