Mary's Grace Power Catamaran

A beach club brings Mary's Grace down to the level of the sea, and her swim platform gives a swimmer a low place to leave the water and to come back aboard. She is a 54ft (16m) power catamaran from Aquila, built in 2026.

On deck

A bimini keeps shade over her deck, an ice maker keeps ice on hand for the whole of the stay, and a curtain across the saloon entry door screens the saloon from the outside when it is drawn.

Water toys

Her tender runs on a 40 hp Mercury outboard and is how the party gets ashore and back again, and she carries snorkelling gear so what lies under the surface is there to be looked at rather than only swum over.

Where she cruises

Mykonos is the home port of Mary's Grace, and the whole of Greece is the ground she operates in; a charter in Greece with her has its two peak months in July and August.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests, a king bed in the first of them and queen beds in the other three, and by day she carries the same eight. Three crew look after those eight guests, and chilled-water air conditioning with fans in the cabins keeps the sleeping cabins cool.

Comfort under way

Mary's Grace cruises at 16 knots and can make 24, burning 180 litres of fuel an hour, and solar panels supply part of her electricity.

Charter notes

Mary's Grace suits a family, or a circle of friends, of up to eight, and she can be taken for a full week or for a three-day rental; with four cabins for eight the party divides into pairs, each pair with a double bed of its own.
