Aquila 36 Sailing Catamaran

Fishing gear travels with Aquila 36, so a line can go in the water wherever she stops and a catch is part of what a day aboard can hold. She is a 36ft (11m) sailing catamaran from Sino Eagle, launched in 2018.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 20 knots and holds 25 knots in reserve, so distance costs little time and a bay further along the coast stays a live choice rather than a whole day's work.

Water toys

Snorkelling gear comes aboard with inflatable toys, so a stop over clear water gives swimmers something to look at below and something to hold onto at the surface.

Where she cruises

Aquila 36 works out of Phuket, in Thailand, and Thailand is the whole of her cruising range, with January, February, March and December her peak months. Phuket is where she sets out from and where she comes back to.

Accommodation and crew

A single cabin sleeps two guests, air-conditioned, with Wi-Fi reaching the boat for anyone who needs to stay contactable. Three crew run her, which is more hands aboard than there are guests sleeping.

She suits a couple who want a crewed charter kept small, and a rental of this kind also carries a wider group on the water, since ten can be aboard by day.
