About Yemaya

A 10ft tender travels with Yemaya, so the shore stays within reach whenever she lies at anchor. She is a sailing catamaran from Bali Catamarans, 46ft (14m) and built in 2022.

Where she cruises

Spain is her cruising ground, worked from a home port at Formentera, with July and August her peak months, and she stays within Spain rather than ranging further.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins take ten guests overnight, with a crew of two aboard to sail her and look after the group. The cabins are air-conditioned and there is Wi-Fi aboard, so a group can keep cool below and keep in touch with home.

Comfort under way

Under sail she settles at 8 knots, and 12 knots is as fast as she goes.

Water toys

Snorkelling gear comes with her, and the swim platform makes the move from deck to sea and back a short one, so the seabed under an anchorage can be looked at from the surface.

Charter notes

For two couples travelling together, or a family who want the boat to themselves, a rental of Yemaya carries twelve by day, more than sleep aboard her, so the group on the water can be larger than the group in the cabins.
