S7 Superyacht
About S7
Two dates anchor S7 on the market: Tansu completed her in 2016, and she had a refit in 2025. At 39 metres and 298 gross tonnes, she carries more volume than her length alone suggests, and a buyer reading her spec sheet is reading two build stories, the original and the refreshed one, stacked on top of each other.
Build and provenance
She is a displacement motor yacht on a monohull, a custom build from Tansu rather than a production model off a line. Her beam runs to 7.6 metres and her draught to 2.6 metres, proportions that favour interior volume over outright pace. The 2025 refit is the most recent entry in her record, which means a survey ordered today reads against work done within the past year, not against a hull left untouched since 2016.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, looked after by a crew of six, a ratio that leaves room to run the boat properly rather than stretch the crew across every task. At 128 feet on deck, S7 has the scale to keep guest cabins and crew quarters properly separated, so the working side of the yacht stays out of the owner's day.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,450 hp Caterpillar C32 engines give her a 9-knot cruise and a 16-knot top speed, figures that mark S7 out as a yacht built to cover distance efficiently rather than sprint between anchorages. Stabilisers keep her level at rest, which matters most on a yacht this size when the swell turns an evening on deck into a rolling one.
On deck and at anchor
Her sun deck is the main outdoor space, laid out with sunpads for the hours spent at anchor rather than under way, and it is where most of a day at anchor is likely to be spent.
Where she lies and how to see her
S7 lies in Sardinia, Italy. We arrange viewings there and attend every one, and once an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before anything is final. She is also part of our charter fleet, chartering out of Exuma, so a buyer curious about life aboard can book a week through her charter listing before deciding to buy.

She is in our charter fleet as well as on the market, so a season can be run against her costs while she is for sale.
Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
