About Deep Blue III
An asymmetric hull is what sets Deep Blue III's layout apart: the flybridge staircase sits to one side rather than on the centreline, and that single decision reshapes the whole main deck. Sanlorenzo built her as an SL102 Asymmetric in 2019.
Build and provenance
She is a monohull motor yacht in flybridge style, 31 metres long and 180 gross tons. The asymmetric configuration is a hallmark of the SL102A series, moving the flybridge stair off the centreline so the main salon runs uninterrupted from the dining table to a fold-out balcony at its far end.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, with the master suite forward on the main deck and panoramic glazing wrapping the space, including the midship section. Below, three further cabins are fitted as VIPs with en-suite bathrooms, and one further cabin sits to starboard for guests. Five crew are quartered in three cabins, keeping service close at hand without spilling into guest areas.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU 16V2000M96 engines, 2,434 horsepower apiece, give her a 26-knot cruise and a 28-knot top speed, figures built for a fast run between anchorages rather than an ocean crossing. Draught is 1.9 metres and beam 7.1 metres, a combination that keeps shallower harbours within reach.
On deck and at anchor
The flybridge is shaded by a bimini and laid out for lounging, with a dining zone and a separate sun area giving guests somewhere to move through the day. A garage aft holds a tender, keeping water toys out of sight until they are wanted.

Deep Blue III lies in Italy. Boatcrowd arranges viewings and is present for each one, and once an offer is accepted we bring in the surveyor and set a date for sea trial.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
