Azimut Grande 38M Tri-Deck Motor Yacht
About Azimut Grande 38M Tri-Deck
A tri-deck layout on a 38-metre hull spreads guest life across three separate decks rather than stacking it into one. The Azimut Grande 38M Tri-Deck is a 299 gross tonne yacht under construction in Italy for delivery in 2027. Ten guests and a crew of six share her without crossing paths more than they need to.
Build and provenance
, to a beam of 8 metres and a draught of 2 metres on a 38-metre length. Alberto Mancini styled her exterior and M2atelier designed the interior, within the tri-deck platform the model is named for. At 299 gross tonnes, that platform has room to spread guest and crew spaces over three levels rather than one.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, with a crew of six aboard to run the boat. The tri-deck arrangement, named in her own model designation, sets guest life across three distinct decks rather than one, room to keep cabins, saloon and crew areas apart from each other.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU 16V 2000M96 engines, rated at 2,450 hp each, drive her to a 23.5-knot top speed and a 19-knot cruise. Range runs to 1,650 nautical miles, enough for a genuine passage rather than a short run out and back. A draught of 2 metres keeps her workable in shallow anchorages as well as in port.
Where she lies and how to see her

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
