Abie Motor Yacht
About Abie
One owner, one set of habits: that is the entire ownership history behind Abie since Azimut delivered her in 2024. She has never been used beyond that private cruising, and there is no warranty work outstanding. For a buyer, that history means a Grande 36M whose systems have had a single operating routine rather than several.
Build and provenance
Abie is a Grande 36M, built with a GRP hull, Alberto Mancini's exterior styling and interiors by Salvagni Architetti. At 35 metres, 115 feet on paper, she carries a 279 gross ton rating on a 7.6-metre beam and a two-metre draught. She is classed with the Registro Italiano Navale, and her D2P hull is engineered for steady running at speed.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five staterooms, with the Owner's suite on the main deck and four further cabins on the lower deck. Large windows on the main deck bring natural light into the layout, and the Infinity SkyDeck and aft beach club extend the living space up and out to the water. Six crew run Abie, enough for a flybridge of this size to be looked after properly rather than left to the owner.
Performance and engineering
Twin MTU engines, rated at 2,200 hp apiece, drive Abie to an 18-knot cruise and 24 knots at full power. Her range runs to 570 nautical miles, and stabilisers hold her steady both at anchor and under way.
Where she lies and how to see her
Abie lies in Porto Cervo, Italy. Boatcrowd handles the viewing from start to finish, and once an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
