Build and provenance
Lady A belongs to Sanlorenzo's Alloy series, an aluminium-hulled, aluminium-superstructure motor yacht with a 7.9-metre beam, exterior and interior both drawn by Francesco Paszkowski. Having one designer responsible for both means fewer seams between how the boat looks from the water and how it feels once you are aboard, and for a buyer that consistency is the point of an Alloy series yacht.
Layout and accommodation
The owner keeps the whole main deck, a suite that stretches the full width of the hull with a dressing room and two separate bathrooms, and steps out on either side onto its own stretch of balcony. One deck down, a VIP sits at the bow with a pair of double cabins and a twin close by, five cabins in all for ten guests and a crew of six to run the boat. Glass doors the height of the room let the main salon spill onto a pair of those balconies, so the sitting area and the water outside sit almost level. Two more balconies fold out elsewhere on the boat, four in total, a fit more commonly seen on yachts considerably larger than her. Up top, the bridge deck opens through gull-wing doors onto a dining table, a bar and a sunbathing pad, while a sheltered deck at the bow adds sunken lounge seating for the quieter hours.
Performance and engineering
Twin MTU engines give Lady A a 20-knot cruise, carried by an aluminium hull and superstructure, at 338 gross tonnes, built for a semi-displacement platform. That combination favours a comfortable, settled cruise, with the stability an aluminium semi-displacement hull is built to hold at pace.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
