Build and provenance
The Mangusta GranSport 45 carries exterior design from Alberto Mancini, whose low bridge-deck roofline gives her an aerodynamic profile Mancini has compared to a sports car's. Mangusta built her with a semi-displacement aluminium hull and a bulb keel, an engineering choice for speed and stability together rather than for range alone. Delivery is due in 2029.

Performance and engineering
Three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each rated at 2,600 hp, give her a cruising speed of twenty knots and a top speed of twenty-six, figures that put her among sports yachts rather than long-distance cruisers. The semi-displacement hull carries dynamic lift to hold her trim at speed, so the pace comes without the yacht rising fully onto a plane. At 444 gross tons, owning her means paying for that speed in tonnage as well as in fuel.
On deck and at anchor

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
