Baglietto T52 Motor Yacht
About Baglietto T52
Twelve guests across six cabins, with a crew of nine to run them, is a ratio built for full service rather than a lean owner-run trip. Baglietto is building the Baglietto T52 for delivery in 2027, a 52-metre hybrid motor yacht designed by Francesco Paszkowski that keeps her builder's established profile while adding a diesel-electric option below the waterline.
Build and provenance
Francesco Paszkowski drew her exterior, continuing Baglietto's established styling language rather than departing from it. She is a monohull built to a displacement profile, still in build, with delivery due in 2027.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across six cabins, with a crew of nine aboard the Baglietto T52 to look after them, a ratio that keeps service attentive at a full complement.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU 16V2000M86 engines, rated at 1.630 kW, or 2.217 hp, at 2.450 rpm, give her a cruising speed of 11 knots and a top speed of 17 knots on diesel alone. An optional hybrid, diesel-electric mode extends her range to 7,800 nautical miles, against 4,500 nautical miles at 11 knots on her engines alone, and lets her sit at anchor for up to twelve hours running on batteries rather than a generator through the night.
Where she lies and how to see her
She lies, for now, inside an Italian yard rather than at a berth, with 2027 marked as her delivery year. Boatcrowd sets up that yard visit and is present for it alongside the buyer. Once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial run against her build schedule rather than against a boat already afloat.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
