Daybreak Superyacht
About Daybreak
Two Caterpillar engines rated at 1,470 horsepower apiece give this 52-metre motor yacht an 11-knot cruise and 16 knots flat out, figures that suit steady sea-keeping over outright pace. Baglietto completed Daybreak in 2024 as part of its T-Line 52m series, and at 494 gross tons on a 9.5-metre beam she carries a full, comfortable volume.
Build and provenance
Daybreak is a Baglietto T-Line 52m, a displacement monohull built within the yard's own 52-metre series rather than as a one-off design. She is offered as a used yacht rather than a new build, delivered in 2024, so a buyer here inherits a hull with a short history rather than commissioning an unproven one.
Layout and accommodation
A crew of eleven look after twelve guests across five cabins, a ratio close to one crew member per guest that leaves room for attentive, personal service.
Performance and engineering
Her 2.7-metre draught keeps her clear of the very shallowest anchorages alone, while she still holds 16 knots at full throttle when needed and settles to an 11-knot cruise for longer runs.
Where she lies and how to see her
Daybreak lies in France, and Boatcrowd accompanies a buyer through every viewing there in person. A survey and sea trial come next once an offer is accepted, ahead of handover. She also carries a charter programme with us, run out of Cannes and reaching across the Mediterranean and into the wider Caribbean, so a buyer can charter her first before deciding to buy.

Also Available to Charter
She is in our charter fleet as well as on the market, so a season can be run against her costs while she is for sale.
Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
