First Lady Motor Yacht

Her main deck is arranged as a single room: a dining table for eight at the after end of the saloon, a comfortable sofa lounge forward, and a cocktail table that converts into a second dining table when more want to sit down. Mahogany joinery and ivory leather panels finish the space, and glass doors to the aft deck open so the interior and the deck run together.

Where she cruises

Rome is her home port, and a second base at Naples gives her two starting points in Italy. All of her cruising is within Italy, and July and August are her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight: a pair with doubles, a pair with twin beds. A crew of four runs her, a crew member for every two guests, and air conditioning and Wi-Fi reach throughout.

Comfort under way

First Lady is an 86ft (26m) Tecnomar motor yacht from 2004, refitted in 2019. She cruises at 23 knots with 30 knots available and uses 460 litres of fuel an hour, so she covers distance quickly.

On deck

The flying bridge carries its own dining area for eating in the open air, and there is room to sunbathe and lounge around her decks, with grey-blue sofas lifted by coral details. The swim platform is the way into the water.

Water toys

A 14ft tender handles trips ashore, while a paddleboard, a two-seat kayak with its paddles, snorkelling gear and an inflatable unicorn stay for the water; the kayak takes two out together.

Charter notes

As a hire, First Lady points at a family or a group of friends; twelve can be aboard for a day on the water, so more than the overnight party can come along.
