Stellamar Superyacht

Two tenders go ashore from Stellamar, a 39ft Ribco Venom and a 16ft Williams, so her crew can land a party in two boats at once. She is a 114ft (35m) superyacht from Cantiere Delle Marche, built in 2023, her hull steel and her superstructure aluminium; Francesco Paszkowski designed her inside and out and Hydro Tec drew her hull.

On deck

The jacuzzi is up on the sundeck, and every deck has somewhere to lounge and somewhere to eat outdoors. The main saloon and the upper-deck skylounge are glazed with large windows, so the view does not end when a guest comes in from the sun. A hydraulic swim platform and a beach club keep the step into the sea short, and a Peloton bike, TechnoGym bench weights and yoga mats let a guest keep training.

Water toys

Two Fliteboards, two Seabobs and four paddleboards travel with her, so four can paddle off together while two ride the foils. Diving gear with a nitrox setup is aboard and her captain is a PADI dive master qualified on nitrox, experienced hands for the tanks; snorkelling gear and fishing tackle are there for time in the water without a tank and for a line over the side.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Nassau in the Bahamas, and she works the Bahamas, the USA and the Turks and Caicos from there. Further into the Caribbean she covers the British Virgin Islands, St Barths, Antigua and Barbuda, the Grenadines and Martinique, which gives a charter a wide choice of coastline and plenty of shore for her tenders to land on.

Accommodation and crew

Five ensuite cabins sleep eleven guests, and by day Stellamar carries twelve. Her owner's stateroom is on the main deck, forward, with a study and a walk-in wardrobe of its own and a bathroom that runs to a full-length bath and a sauna; the other four cabins are on the lower deck, each with large windows for daylight, and the beds are a king, two queens and two pairs of twins. Seven crew look after those eleven – a captain, a chief officer, a bosun, a chef, an engineer and two stewardesses.

Comfort under way

She was built for long passages, a full-displacement hull with twin Caterpillar engines and electrically driven stabilisers that run at anchor as well as on the move, so there is less roll whether she is lying still or making way. She cruises at 15 knots with 19 in hand, her season peaks between December and March, and Starlink keeps the internet working far from any shore.

Charter notes

Stellamar suits two couples, who have the master and the two queen cabins to divide between them, or a family with the twin cabins in mind. She is offered for hire by the week and for shorter bookings, and her chef buys ingredients locally where he can, so what comes out of the galley comes from wherever she happens to be.
