'H Superyacht
About 'H
A water slide travels with 'H, and so does a second home port, which puts two separate sets of cruising grounds within her reach. She is a 139ft (42m) Benetti superyacht, built in 2015 and refitted in 2023, and HJH Designs gave her an interior in a modern, calm style with a cinema area.
On deck
Her beach club opens her to the water and a swim platform gives a step down into the sea, while the Jacuzzi sits up on the Portuguese deck with open views around it. Seating areas and sunpads are spread about her decks, meals can be served alfresco, and the skylounge is set for formal dining. There is a workout room with a treadmill, a recumbent bike, a bench and a set of free weights, so training need not pause for the week.
Water toys
A 19ft Castoldi jet tender takes guests ashore and tows the two wakeboards and the water skis. Three Seabobs and three inflatable paddleboards are aboard, and the water slide drops guests straight into the sea. Snorkelling and fishing gear are carried for guests who want to look beneath the surface or cast a line, and a beach set-up with an inflatable lounge, a volleyball set, bocce and a football is there for time spent on the sand.
Where she cruises
'H is based at Amalfi in Italy, and from there she works Italy, France, Monaco and Spain, a coast of harbours and towns. Her second home port is Nassau, and from that side she covers the Bahamas, the British Virgin Islands and the USVI, where islands take the place of a mainland coast.
Accommodation and crew
Five staterooms sleep ten guests in three doubles and two twins, and by day she can carry twelve. The master stateroom is on the main deck with a king-size bed, a meditation room of its own and a his-and-hers bathroom en suite, and the guest staterooms – two with king beds and two twins – each have their own bath en suite. A crew of ten looks after those ten guests, her peak months being December through March and again July and August, so there is a crew member for every guest aboard.
Comfort under way
Two MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 19 knots with 26 knots in hand, so the miles between her harbours and bays pass quickly.
Charter notes
'H suits two couples, who can each take a king stateroom, or a family, since a king stateroom can be joined to a twin to make a larger suite. She is offered for charter by the week or for three days, and a hire on her brings those joined suites with it, so a family can take a larger suite rather than separate cabins.
