Wider Yachts is building Wider Pajot Eco 153 in aluminium, hull and deck both, with yachtsman Marc Pajot part of the design and development team. Delivery is due in 2027, so a buyer takes an interest in a yacht still under construction rather than one already afloat.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests are accommodated in six cabins aboard a yacht of 480 gross tons, tonnage that gives her salon and cockpit areas room to spread rather than compete with cabin space below.
Performance and engineering
A hybrid propulsion system built around Danfoss Editron drive technology gives Wider Pajot Eco 153 a 12-knot cruise and a 16-knot top speed, with a zero-emission mode that lets her run on stored power alone when required. A draft of 5.5 metres asks for depth at anchor, water suited to open bays rather than shallow inshore moorings.

- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
