About Muma
A Registro Italiano Navale classification and a Francesco Paszkowski exterior line make up the paper trail behind Muma's build. Sanlorenzo delivered her in 2016, flying a Malta flag, and she lies now in Cancun, Mexico. For a buyer looking at a used yacht, a class society survey and a named designer are the kind of provenance that either exists on paper or does not.
Build and provenance
She is a GRP monohull, a flybridge motor yacht built by Sanlorenzo, with exterior and interior design by Francesco Paszkowski. Class is Registro Italiano Navale, and she carries a Malta flag. At 155 gross tons over 29 metres, Muma holds more volume than her length alone suggests, and a class-society hull means her structure has already been checked against an independent standard rather than the yard's word alone.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, the full-beam Owner's Stateroom, a VIP cabin and two further guest cabins completing the deck, one of them fitted with a Pullman berth. A crew of four runs the boat, a one-to-two ratio against her guest count that keeps service close without a large team to house. Her flybridge sits above the accommodation, an open deck for dining and sunbeds rather than a passage space.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,900 hp MTU 16V 2000 M84 engines give Muma an 18-knot cruise and a 28-knot top speed, enough to cover the coast in a single day's run rather than an overnight passage. Zero-speed stabilisers hold her level at anchor as well as under way. Two Kohler generators rated at 45 kW each keep the air-conditioning and systems running independent of the main engines, and a 440-nautical-mile range gives her the legs to move between anchorages without refuelling at each stop.
On deck and at anchor
A BBQ station and sunpads sit under the open sun deck, with a swimming platform at the stern for the water. WiFi and air-conditioning run throughout, connectivity and comfort for guests who want both with the coastline.
Where she lies and how to see her
Muma lies in Cancun, Mexico. Boatcrowd arranges every viewing in person and is on hand throughout each one, and once a buyer's offer is accepted we bring in an independent surveyor and set the sea trial for the same visit wherever we can.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
