Sanlorenzo is building hull number 8 of its X-Space range, due for delivery in 2028.
Build and provenance
The hull is steel and the superstructure aluminium, a pairing chosen for strength without excess weight, and the full-displacement form keeps her steady rather than tuned for planing speed. At 45 metres and 499 gross tons, she carries real volume for her length, and Sanlorenzo's own design office is drawing both the exterior lines and the interior.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across six cabins, with nine crew to look after them, a ratio that keeps service attentive with a full guest list. The full-beam owner's suite sits on the upper deck with its own office, a practical addition for an owner who wants to work as well as relax on board. A main salon combining lounge and dining opens onto a second lounge aft, giving guests two distinct places to gather over the day.
Performance and engineering
X-Space / 8 cruises at 12.5 knots, a speed chosen to suit the full-displacement hull rather than push against it, and the same hull form is built to reduce noise and vibration underway. Her steel and aluminium construction favours a comfortable ride over sharp manoeuvring, the trade a buyer makes for a quieter, steadier yacht at sea.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, an 18-square-metre pool sits aft on the main deck alongside sunpads, with a beach club and swim platform below for access to the water. Al fresco dining is set up on the deck above, and the outdoor space is split across four distinct areas, so guests are never short of somewhere to sit.

X-Space / 8 is being built in Italy, at the yard completing her ahead of delivery in 2028. Boatcrowd represents the sale and can arrange a visit to see her during build; once an offer is accepted, we co-ordinate survey and sea trial before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
