About K2
Eleven guests and a crew of seven is a ratio built for attentive service, and Boatcrowd offers K2 both ways: to buy, or to charter through our fleet, based out of Santorini. Sanlorenzo built her in 2024.
Build and provenance
Sanlorenzo delivered K2 in 2024, part of the yard's SD series of displacement motor yachts on a monohull. No refit is recorded, and she remains under Sanlorenzo's original warranty, so a buyer takes on factory backing rather than a repair history to check at survey.
Layout and accommodation
Eleven guests sleep across five cabins, with a crew of seven to run K2 and turn the cabins around between charters and private trips alike. Her beach club opens with side balconies that bring guests closer to the water, a feature that works as well across a charter week as it does on a private trip.
Performance and engineering
Twin Caterpillar engines cruise K2 at fourteen knots and give her a top speed of seventeen, enough to reposition between charter guests without long transit days. She carries 37,000 litres of fuel and 4,000 litres of water, tankage built for weeks away rather than day trips, and a 70kW generator keeps the systems running at anchor. She is stabilised for both zero speed and underway, keeping the ride settled whether she is at rest or on passage.
Where she lies and how to see her
K2 lies in Athens, Greece. Boatcrowd sets up each viewing and is there for it, and once an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before handover. She is also part of our charter fleet, based in Santorini and operating in Greece, so a buyer who wants to try her before committing can charter a week aboard.

She is in our charter fleet as well as on the market, so a season can be run against her costs while she is for sale.
Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
