About Maoria
Trying a yacht before buying her is not always possible, but Maoria makes it straightforward. Numarine built her in 2021 as a 26XP, and Boatcrowd already charters her out of a base in Corsica, across France, Italy, Malta and Monaco. A buyer can book a week aboard before deciding, rather than judging her from photographs alone.
Build and provenance
Numarine built Maoria in 2021 as a 26XP, a displacement-hulled design aimed at longer-range cruising rather than a fast coastal run. Her lines carry the look of an explorer yacht, with wide exterior spaces rather than a compact profile.
Layout and accommodation
Three cabins sleep six guests: a full-beam master aft, a full-beam VIP forward, and a double to port, each with its own ensuite shower room. A crew of four run the boat, a generous ratio for six guests that keeps service close at hand.
Performance and engineering
Two 560hp MAN engines give her a cruising speed of around 10 knots and a top speed of 12 knots, figures that fit a displacement hull built for range and comfort rather than speed. It is the kind of pace that keeps a long passage steady rather than quick.
On deck and at anchor
The aft deck lounge seats up to eight for al fresco dining, with a small bar and fridge close by for drinks between swims.

Maoria lies in Imperia, Italy. Boatcrowd sets up a viewing and joins you for it, and once an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before anything is finalised. She is in our charter fleet as well as on the market, so a season can be run against her costs while she is for sale.
Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
