Floor-to-ceiling windows and a sliding door that erases the line between the aft deck and the saloon are the first thing you notice aboard Exit Strategy: the living spaces are built to run into each other rather than sit apart. Numarine delivered her as a 2023 26XP, and the same logic carries from the cockpit through to the cabins below.
Build and provenance
She is built in composite FRP, engineered against noise and vibration and certified to CE Class A for offshore work, a rating that means genuine open-water capability rather than sheltered use only. That combination of a quiet build and a real offshore certification is the base the rest of the layout works from.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four staterooms, including a full-beam midship master, with four crew in two cabins of their own. A day head sits in the passageway to the helm, handy for guests moving between the saloon and the cockpit without disturbing the cabins below. Forward of the saloon the wheelhouse gives the captain clear sightlines and every control within reach, and down the stairs to the lower deck a hidden minibar fridge sits beneath the steps, stocked before guests ever reach their cabins.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,120 hp engines give her a 9-knot cruise and a 13-knot top speed, modest numbers that mark her out as a long-range cruiser built for efficiency over speed rather than for covering ground quickly. A fin stabilisation system smooths her motion both underway and at anchor, keeping her comfortable on passage and steady once moored.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, the hydraulic swim platform lowers to launch tenders and toys and doubles as a swimming platform once she is anchored, keeping the transom simple rather than crowded with fixed gear.
Where she lies and how to see her
Exit Strategy lies in Fort Lauderdale. Boatcrowd arranges every viewing in person, and once an offer is accepted, we bring in survey and sea trial before handover. She also charters with us, based in Marigot for her Caribbean season, so a buyer can spend time aboard first and decide with that experience in hand.

She is in our charter fleet as well as on the market, so a season can be run against her costs while she is for sale.
Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
