Seaflower Motor Yacht
About Seaflower
A yacht that has barely left her berth sits in a different category from one with a season of charter mileage behind her. Mulder delivered Seaflower in 2023 to an owner already familiar with yards across northern Europe, and that owner logged one night aboard before deciding to sell, so a used listing reads closer to new.
Build and provenance
She is an all-aluminium Mulder ThirtySix with a raised pilothouse, her exterior lines drawn by Claydon Reeves and her interior finished by Vickers Studio in limed oak panelling. Her hull is a fast displacement form from Van Oossanen, shaped to move efficiently rather than simply to look fast, and her propulsion is IMO Tier III compliant.
Layout and accommodation
Aboard Seaflower, 10 guests sleep across 5 cabins, while three crew cabins provide accommodation for up to 6 crew. At 36 metres and 296 gross tons, her interior spreads guests and crew without crowding either.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,150 hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a 15-knot cruise and a 16.8-knot top speed, figures that put her in coastal-and-crossing territory rather than a slow displacement pace. Starlink keeps her connected under way, and her fast displacement hull is built to reach that speed efficiently.
Where she lies and how to see her
Seaflower lies in Antibes, France. Boatcrowd sets up viewings and is there for them, and once an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before the sale completes.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
