A convertible cabin and a Pullman berth give the Extra X100 Triplex more sleeping arrangements than her five main cabins suggest, room to flex between a full owner's party and a lighter weekend crowd. She sleeps ten guests as standard, looked after by a crew of five, and Extra Yachts will deliver her in 2028 from Italy.
Build and provenance
The X100 Triplex is a tri-deck design with a raised bow, giving her the look of an explorer-style yacht built with distance in mind rather than a day out. Studio Agon drew her exterior lines, Laura Brocchini Design her interiors, and Extra Yachts' own naval engineering team the underlying platform. A hard top covers the sun deck, keeping it usable rather than only a sunbathing spot.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, with a convertible cabin and a Pullman berth adding flexibility for a fuller party without asking the yacht to grow. A crew of five keep the boat running, a compact number matched to her scale. The sky lounge adds a second living space away from the main saloon, somewhere to sit apart from the rest of the party.
Performance and engineering
Two MAN V12 engines, rated at 1550 HP as standard with an 1800 HP option, drive her to a 12-knot cruise and 15 knots flat out. Long-range capability comes as part of her standard equipment, in keeping with a hull built for extended cruising rather than short hops, and a draft of 2.2 metres keeps her out of only the shallowest anchorages.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a spa pool gives the sun deck a reason to stay in the open air rather than just the shade of the hard top, a spot to sit in the water without going ashore.
Where she lies and how to see her
The Extra X100 Triplex is under construction in Italy, on course for a 2028 delivery. Boatcrowd organises a yard visit for buyers who want to see her being built, and we come along to that visit too. Once a buyer's offer is accepted, the survey and sea trial happen before she is handed over.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
