About Uilia
A crew of five for ten guests is a heavy ratio, one that keeps service unhurried rather than stretched. Extra Yachts built Uilia in 2019, and she came through a refit in 2026, so a buyer takes on a yacht with fresh work already done rather than a maintenance list still to clear. At 29 metres she is a serious motor yacht to run, currently in Italy.
Build and provenance
Uilia is a semi-displacement motor yacht with a GRP hull and superstructure, drawn by her own builder's naval architecture team. Francesco Guida handled the interior and exterior design, working a contemporary finish behind a white fibreglass hull. Extra Yachts is Palumbo's own brand.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep in five cabins, with a crew of five in their own quarters, and the master suite sits forward on the main deck for privacy from the cabins below. Four further staterooms, two VIP doubles and two singles, are on the lower deck. The main-deck living room centres on a c-shaped sofa and a television that folds away into the console when it is not wanted.
Performance and engineering
Three 1,200 hp Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines drive her to a 12-knot cruise and an 18-knot top speed, with a range of 1,100 nautical miles at that cruising speed, enough to cross between charter grounds rather than just to potter along a coast. Stabilisers keep her level under way and at rest.
Where she lies and how to see her
Uilia lies in Italy, and Boatcrowd arranges and attends viewings there. A survey and sea trial follow once an offer is accepted, ahead of any handover paperwork. She also charters through Boatcrowd from a base in Corsica across France, Monaco and Italy, so a buyer can spend a week aboard before deciding to buy her outright.

She is in our charter fleet as well as on the market, so a season can be run against her costs while she is for sale.
Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
