Aluminium construction sits at the heart of the Extra X116 Alloy, the newest design in Extra Yachts' own series and a yacht being built by the Palumbo shipyard in Italy. At 35 metres and 320 gross tons she is due for delivery in 2028, a new build with no history yet to account for, just a design lineage to point to.
Build and provenance
, a monohull motor yacht in the displacement style that Extra Yachts designs for owners who want a villa's worth of room afloat. Francesco Guida is behind her exteriors and interiors, continuing an update he brought to the series alongside its already generous volumes. Her beam runs to 8.2 metres and her draught to 2.2 metres, dimensions chosen to hold that volume rather than chase speed.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests are accommodated across five cabins, arranged around two saloons, one on the main deck and one on the upper deck, so a full guest list can spread out rather than share a single room all day. The owner's suite sits forward on the main deck with its own bathroom and a private work area,. A three-position garage holds the tender and two jet skis, freeing the bow for use as relaxation space rather than equipment storage.
Performance and engineering
Two CAT C32 ACERT engines, each rated at 1.193 kW, give her a 14-knot cruise and a 16.5-knot top speed, a pairing built for steady coastal running rather than outright pace.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a jacuzzi sits forward where the garage below leaves the bow clear, and a gym is fitted for guests who want to train while under way. The wider layout, from cockpit to sundeck, carries through the same idea behind the whole design: rooms sized for living rather than merely passing through.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
