Extra Yachts is building the Extra X130 Fast in Italy, a 39-metre hull due for delivery in 2029. Either configuration is built to push a boat of this length to a 25-knot top speed.
Build and provenance
Her profile is low, with the superstructure set forward of amidships and a vertical glass helm station at the front of the upperworks. Aft, the design gives over three deck levels to open space, from sundecks down to the beach club at the waterline.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins within a 39-metre, 7.9-metre-beam hull. The bow is kept for socialising, with a sheltered lounge behind a glass guardrail looking out over the water, while the stern's three levels carry the more active side of life aboard.

Either way, the Extra X130 Fast is built for a 20-knot cruise and a 25-knot top speed on a 1.6-metre draught, shallow enough to work an anchorage a deeper hull would leave alone.

On deck, the sundeck carries a 12-seat dining table and a bar under a fixed hard top. Below, the beach club opens the stern out to a 15 by 10 metre swim area at the waterline, room enough for the whole party to be in the water at once.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
