Five cabins for ten guests and five crew cabins for seven crew is a layout built around service as much as comfort, and L.A.U.L carries the balance through to the captain's cabin, set on the navigation deck rather than down among the crew. Extra Yachts built her in 2019, at 397 gross tons, and the plan reads as an explorer's rather than a marina yacht's.
Build and provenance
Extra Yachts built the X130 Triplex at Palumbo's yard in Savona, with design by Francesco Guida and naval architecture from Studio Rogantin and Palumbo Superyachts. She is an aluminium yacht at 40 metres and 131 feet, construction that keeps weight down over a long hull without giving up strength. She has stayed in private use since her 2019 launch, under a maintained upkeep programme.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests are accommodated across five cabins: a full-beam master suite on the main deck, three VIP doubles, and a twin cabin on the lower deck. Five crew cabins house seven crew, with the captain's cabin kept apart on the navigation deck, a separation that puts the running of the yacht on its own deck rather than beside the guests.
Performance and engineering
Twin engines rated at 3,600 hp cruise L.A.U.L at 12 knots and take her to 17 flat out, power built for covering distance rather than for a quick dash to a lunch spot. Stabilisers work both underway and at anchor, so she sits as steady off a beach as she does making passage.
On deck and at anchor
The sundeck carries the jacuzzi and a separate dip pool, and the upper deck adds an outdoor bar within reach of the sunpads, spreading the outdoor living across more than one level rather than concentrating it aft. A tender garage below keeps the toys out of sight until they are needed, and a swimming platform gives easy water access at anchor.

L.A.U.L lies in Bandol, on the south coast of France. Boatcrowd sets up the viewing and is there for it with you, and once you make an accepted offer we bring in the surveyor and organise the sea trial.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
