About Sun & Sea
A flat, step-free floor between the main salon and the owner's suite is what separates a full-beam cabin from one that only borrows the width for a corridor. Sun & Sea has that connection built into her main deck, and Azimut, which built her in 2018 as a Grande 30M, gave her the model's other signature too: a day head placed between the two spaces so neither one feels shared.
Build and provenance
She is a 29-metre monohull motor yacht in the flybridge style, with a beam of 7.1 metres, a draught of 2.1 metres and 168 gross tons. Her interior is the work of Achille Salvagni, and panoramic glazing floods the main salon with natural light.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins: the full-beam owner's suite forward on the main deck, and four further cabins on the lower deck, each with its own en-suite bathroom. That four-and-one split keeps the guest cabins on their own level, away from the owner's deck.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU engines rated at 2,400 horsepower apiece give her a 23-knot cruise and a 29-knot top speed: numbers built for quick point-to-point runs along a coastline rather than long open-water passages.
Recent works
She has had a pre-season service: new carpet fitted in the owner's suite and main salon, antifouling renewed, anodes serviced, and the interior fully detailed. It is upkeep rather than a structural refit, the kind of work that keeps her ready to view at short notice.
On deck and at anchor
The flybridge is the main gathering space on deck, shaded under a hardtop with a retractable central section. Aft, a garage holds a tender and jet skis along with other water toys, kept out of sight until wanted.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
