Indigo Motor Yacht
About Indigo
Delivered new to her original owner in 2017, Indigo has never been chartered, and that private-use history is one of the first things a surveyor reads: no charter wear, no rotating guest lists, just a single household's time aboard to account for.
Build and provenance
Azimut built her as a Grande-series flybridge motor yacht, a monohull with a GRP hull, launched and delivered new in 2017. She has never been chartered and is described as maintained in excellent condition, with her engines still under warranty.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins: a full-beam primary suite with its own king-size bed and walk-in wardrobe, two VIP cabins and two twin cabins for family or friends. Five crew are accommodated separately, enough to run the boat and cook and clean without guests seeing much of the work.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU 16V 2000 M86 engines, rated at 2,400 hp each, give her a 26-knot top speed and a comfortable 12-knot cruise, a wide enough gap between the two that a captain can choose a fast run or an easy one depending on the day.
Where she lies and how to see her
Indigo is currently in La Paz, in Mexico. Boatcrowd sets up private viewings there and is present for them, and after an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before completion.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
