About Yb
A cruising speed of 25 knots puts YB in a different part of the day than most flybridge motor yachts: this is a boat for a lunch run up the coast and back before the afternoon is gone, not a slow arrival the night before. Azimut built her as a 29-metre S10 in 2019, and a 2024 refit has kept her current for exactly that kind of use. She lies in Ventimiglia.
Build and provenance
Alberto Mancini drew her exterior, Francesco Guida designed the interior, and she is classed to RINA, the Registro Italiano Navale. The 2024 refit followed the 2019 build, recent work on a hull still inside its first five years.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four staterooms, a Master Suite plus two doubles and a twin, and a crew of four look after them. The salon runs floor-to-ceiling windows, and the galley is fitted with top-of-the-line appliances, keeping the same yacht that is quick point-to-point comfortable for a longer stay aboard.
Performance and engineering
Twin 2,600 hp MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines give YB, at 155 gross tonnes, a 25-knot cruise and a 32-knot top speed, with two 27kW Onan generators keeping the systems running once the engines are throttled back. Light enough to get onto the plane quickly, she is a sport flybridge built to cover ground fast between anchorages rather than to settle in for an overnight passage.
On deck and at anchor
The flybridge carries sunpads, seating and a bar, the space where most of the day happens on a boat built for speed, and the swimming platform gives easy access back aboard after a stop.
Where she lies and how to see her
YB lies in Ventimiglia, Italy. Boatcrowd sets up viewings on site and comes along to them, and once an offer is accepted we arrange the survey and sea trial before anything is finalised.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
