Twenty-two knots at a cruise, twenty-nine flat out: the Grande 30M is built to move as well as to live aboard. Azimut delivered her, as Silvia, to her original owner in 2018, and she has had that same owner since, specified for long stays rather than for the largest possible guest count.
Build and provenance
Silvia is a 29-metre flybridge motor yacht with a monohull, delivered in 2018, and at 124 gross tons she puts her volume into a genuinely private owner's suite rather than extra cabins. Stefano Righini drew her exterior and Salvagni Architetti her interior, and she has stayed with her original owner and specification since delivery, described as carefully maintained throughout, which for a buyer at survey means a consistent record rather than gaps to piece together.
Layout and accommodation
Six guests sleep across three cabins. Azimut reduced the cabin count on purpose, using the space instead for a split-level owner's suite with its own lounge, office space and dressing area, a rare layout at this length. Four crew run the boat, quartered separately from that owner's deck, and the trade of cabin count for space suits a couple or family who want room over headcount.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU engines at 2,400 hp apiece drive her to that 22-knot cruise and 29-knot top speed, with a stated range of 750 nautical miles. That pace suits a buyer who wants to reach an anchorage quickly, using the boat over long weekends and short hops rather than extended ocean passages.
On deck and at anchor
The flybridge carries a dining area, a bar, a barbecue and a hot tub under an automatic bimini, built as the social deck for afternoons at anchor and evenings under way. Forward and aft decks add further sunpads, so guests can move with the sun rather than stay in one spot all day.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
