Build and provenance

She is an 8X, a fast, lightweight series built around pace rather than volume: a planing monohull under 96 gross tonnes, light enough to get up onto the plane quickly and stay there. No refit is on her record, so what a buyer views is the original 2021 specification, unaltered since.

Layout and accommodation

Eight guests sleep across four cabins, including a full-beam master suite, while a crew of three run the boat from their own quarters. On a sports yacht this size the main deck salon is where the day happens, and the cabins below are kept for the night.

Performance and engineering

A single MTU V16 2000 M96L engine, paired with surface-drive propulsion, carries her to a 41-knot cruise and 48 knots flat out, with stabilisers running underway to keep the ride flat at speed. Uprated generators keep the systems and the air conditioning running whether she is moving or sitting at anchor. At a beam of 5.9 metres and a draft of 1.4 metres, she sits light on the water for a yacht built to plane.

Foredeck seating and sunpads are where the day outside happens on the Pershing 8X, away from the noise of the engines below, and air conditioning keeps the cabins comfortable once she is back at rest.
