Four cabins for six guests is a generous ratio on a 25-metre flybridge, and a crew of two keeps the Van der Valk Flybridge 23 M running without living in the guests' way. Van der Valk is building her in the Netherlands for delivery in 2027, drawn by Cor D. Rover for easy handling, including shorthanded cruising.
Build and provenance
She is built in aluminium at the Van der Valk yard, a hull material chosen for weight savings without losing the strength a flybridge cruiser needs. Delivery is due in 2027, from the yard in the Netherlands.
Layout and accommodation
Six guests sleep across four double cabins, each with its own bathroom, and a crew of two have quarters of their own so the guest areas stay just that. Floor-to-ceiling windows run along the interior, and the furniture throughout is loose rather than fixed, so a fitted dining table can give way to a high-low table that turns the lounge into a bar in the evening.
Performance and engineering
Three Volvo Penta IPS-800 engines, each a 441 kW, 600 hp D11-600, drive her to a cruising speed of 18.4 knots and a top speed of 23 knots, pod drives suited to the easy handling the design is built around. A draft of 1.7 metres and a 5.6-metre beam keep her easy to berth and manoeuvre.
On deck and at anchor
A flybridge deck is her outside living space beyond the interior, an open level for the helm and for guests to be in the air while under way or at anchor.

The Van der Valk Flybridge 23 M is taking shape at the yard in the Netherlands, with 2027 the year she is due. Boatcrowd brings buyers to the yard to walk her build and stands beside you at the viewing. When an offer is accepted, a surveyor and a sea trial come next before she changes hands.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
