Alilea Motor Yacht
About Alilea
A crew of one for eight guests says plenty about the way Alilea is meant to be run: lightly staffed, owner-driven, built for short hops rather than a full-service season. Van der Heijden launched her in 2019 as a 24-metre custom motor yacht, and she lies today in Roses, Spain.
Build and provenance
She is built entirely of aluminium, a material choice that keeps her light for her size and suits the fast running her engines are capable of. Her design is custom rather than drawn from a production line, with an interior finished specifically for her rather than adapted from a standard layout. Large areas of glass run around her exterior, giving her wide views out rather than the smaller windows of an older flybridge design.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, with a single crew member aboard to run her day to day, a ratio suited to an owner who wants Alilea operated simply rather than staffed like a larger charter yacht. Her flybridge adds a second living level open to the sky, with a jacuzzi and deck space up top that put more of the boat outdoors than a single-level layout would.
Performance and engineering
Twin 1,200 hp MAN engines give Alilea a top speed of 34 knots, enough for a fast point-to-point run rather than a long, slow passage. A beam of 5.95 metres and a draft of 1.1 metres keep her manageable close to shore, and at 41 gross tonnes she is light enough for that speed without oversized machinery.
Where she lies and how to see her
Alilea lies in Roses, Spain. Boatcrowd sets up viewings and is present for them, and a survey and sea trial follow once an offer on her is accepted.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
