An open beach club and a dining room built around a wine cellar set Beyond's design apart, before she has even left the yard. Turquoise Yachts is building the 85-metre explorer for delivery in 2031, with construction already under way in Istanbul.
Build and provenance
She is a custom, single-hull motor yacht of displacement form, built in steel and measuring 85 metres in length, with a beam of 12.8 metres and a draft of 3.8 metres. Those proportions give her the deep, steady hull a long-range explorer needs, rather than one built for short hops between islands.
Layout and accommodation
Eight cabins accommodate 16 guests, with a crew of 22 aboard to run the yacht and look after them, a ratio built for extended voyages rather than a short charter week. The owner's area is planned as its own retreat with panoramic views and its own lounge and exterior space. The dining room is built around an integrated wine cellar and opens onto the salons and exterior decks, so a meal can move outside without a break in the evening.
Performance and engineering
Two engines rated at 5,148 hp each give her a cruising speed of 14 knots and a top speed of 17 knots, figures built for covering distance steadily rather than for pace. Stabilisers hold her at anchor as well as underway, keeping the yacht settled whether she is moving or sitting off a remote coastline.
On deck and at anchor
The beach club opens to the water through a hydraulic swim platform, with an outdoor shower and a barbecue close by, and the sun deck carries its own space above. A sauna, spa and gym sit apart for wellness, and touch-and-go helicopter operations are built into her design. Bow and stern thrusters, underwater lights and an outdoor bar round out a yacht built to be lived on, not just sailed between anchorages.

Beyond is under construction in Istanbul, Turkey. We arrange viewings as she nears completion and attend them with you, and once an offer is accepted, the survey and sea trial follow before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
