Insignia Motor Yacht
About Insignia
Running Insignia means looking after five crew who look after ten guests, a ratio that keeps the boat properly staffed without the overhead of a much larger yacht. Sunseeker built her in 2015 as part of its 115 Sport Yacht line, and at 35 metres she still reads as one of the yard's larger performance flybridge builds. She is offered for sale from Spain.
Build and provenance
She has a GRP hull and superstructure, and Sunseeker built her as part of its 115 Sport Yacht line, a limited-production run within the yard's range rather than a mainstream model. That means a hull drawn specifically for speed, not adapted from a slower displacement design, which is the difference an owner feels every time she comes onto the plane.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep in five cabins, arranged around a full-beam master suite, with two further doubles and two twins that convert to sleep more when needed. Five crew work from their own separate quarters, which for an owner means guest cabins stay guest cabins and never double as crew space.
Performance and engineering
Twin MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 19 knots, comfortable enough for an owner to run her regularly rather than save her for occasional long passages. Her planing hull stays responsive at that pace, which for day-to-day ownership means predictable handling rather than needing a specialist hand at the helm.
Where she lies and how to see her
Insignia lies in Spain. Boatcrowd sets up the viewing and is there for it in person, and once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial happen before the sale goes through.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
