St-Barth Yachts built her as the 85 Fly, a flybridge motor yacht on a monohull, sold as new stock rather than a resale carrying someone else's hours. At sixty-three gross tonnes across twenty-six metres, with a beam of 6.3 metres and a draft of 1.7 metres, she pairs enough beam for a stable ride with a shallow draft of 1.7 metres that keeps skinny-water anchorages within reach.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep in four cabins, with three crew aboard to run her, a ratio that suits a family or a small group who want a crewed boat without a large complement living aboard.
Performance and engineering
Twin 1,350 hp Volvo Penta IPS 1350 pod drives give St-Barth II a 20-knot cruise and a 28-knot top speed, figures that put her closer to a fast planing yacht than a slow-turning flybridge cruiser. IPS pod propulsion is built for fuel efficiency and manoeuvrability at the dock as much as outright pace, so the same drives that deliver the top end also make her easy to bring alongside.

A jacuzzi on deck and a swimming platform put the water within easy reach at anchor, and underwater lights extend that into the evening. A teppanyaki grill on board turns an afternoon stop into a cooking deck rather than just a place to swim.

St-Barth II lies at Cap-d'Ail, on the French coast. We arrange viewings there and go along to them, and once an offer is accepted, a survey and sea trial are scheduled before handover. As new stock rather than a resale, she comes to that survey without a history to account for.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
