St-Barth 85 Fly Motor Yacht
About St-Barth 85 Fly
Two named studios stand behind the St-Barth 85 Fly before a single guest steps aboard: AR Design drew her exterior, and Wijk Yacht Creations handled the naval architecture. St-Barth Yachts is building her in aluminium as a 26-metre, 63-gross-tonne tri-deck motor yacht, due for delivery in 2027. Ordering her now means choosing a design rather than inspecting a finished hull.
Build and provenance
The yard builds the 85 Fly at its Netherlands facility, and its own schedule points to delivery in as little as 20 months from order. Aluminium construction keeps her light for her length. At this stage of construction, what a buyer is assessing is a specification, not a survey report.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins aboard the St-Barth 85 Fly take eight guests, arranged as a full-beam master suite, a VIP and a further guest double, all on the lower deck. A separate ensuite cabin on the same deck houses the three crew who run her, close to the guest cabins without sitting inside the main living space. The open-plan saloon and galley sit above, built for a family group or a set of friends sharing the boat.
Performance and engineering
Twin Volvo Penta engines give her a 28-knot top speed and a 20-knot cruise. A 700-nautical-mile range, at-anchor stabilisers and a draft of 1.7 metres against a 6.3-metre beam complete a yacht built to move between anchorages quickly and sit still comfortably once there.
Where she lies and how to see her
A viewing of the St-Barth 85 Fly today means a walk through her build in the Netherlands, not a step onto a finished deck. We set that visit up and go along for it. Once a buyer's offer is accepted, the survey and sea trial follow after she has launched.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
