About Ice
A 4,000 nautical mile range is what sets Ice apart from a coastal motor yacht: at 10 knots cruise, her twin 410 hp Cummins diesels are built to cover distance, not to win a straight-line dash. Soyaslan Marine built her in steel in 2024, as a full-displacement explorer rather than a planing cruiser.
Build and provenance
Her hull is steel, the material a builder reaches for when the job is distance and durability rather than outright speed. Interiors are by Baz Design, laid out to hold up through weeks aboard rather than a single weekend. New in 2024, she has not yet needed a refit, so her equipment list is still the one she launched with.
Layout and accommodation
Five staterooms take 10 guests, with the Owner's Stateroom on the main deck ahead of four further cabins on the lower deck. A crew of two look after the yacht.
Performance and engineering
Two 410 hp Cummins engines cruise Ice at 10 knots and reach 12 knots flat out, figures built around endurance rather than pace, matched to a 4,000 nautical mile range meant for ocean crossings rather than day trips. Stabilisers work at anchor as well as underway, and two 27kW Onan generators back the systems a long passage depends on. Her draft of 2.1 metres still keeps shallower anchorages within reach.
On deck and at anchor
A beach club opens her stern to the water, and the cranes aboard make it straightforward to launch tenders and toys for a day spent at anchor.

Ice lies in Imperia, Italy. Boatcrowd shows her in person to every buyer who asks, and after an offer is accepted, a survey and sea trial come next, before she changes hands.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
