About Estia
A boat that removes the wall between the main deck and the beach area at the stern changes how a day on board unfolds: guests move between saloon, cockpit and swim platform without a step marking the change. Sanlorenzo built Estia to that idea in 2022, and at 26 metres she carries it through a genuinely open main deck. She lies in Liguria, Italy, offered through Boatcrowd.
Build and provenance
The SX88's wheelhouse sits on the upper deck rather than the main deck, freeing the main deck into one continuous space between saloon and cockpit. Sliding panels close the upper deck into a climate-controlled lounge in poor weather, or open it on three sides when the weather is kind. Estia's hull is GRP, and her beam of 7.2 metres and draft of 1.7 metres are consistent across the SX88 line she was delivered from in 2022.
Layout and accommodation
Below, four cabins hold a master suite, a VIP stateroom forward, and a pair of twins, sleeping up to eight guests without anyone doubling up. A crew of three runs her, a number that works because the open main deck above removes the wheelhouse's footprint and leaves less space to service.
Performance and engineering
Three 800 hp Volvo Penta IPS engines, carrying 1,332 hours between them, give Estia a cruising speed of 20 knots and a top speed of 23 knots. She holds 9.300 litres of fuel, tankage built for a run of days rather than a single afternoon. Two Kohler generators, one rated at 35 kW with 2,784 hours and a second at 28 kW with 2,529 hours, keep the systems running at anchor without the mains turning over.
On deck and at anchor
At anchor, stabilisers hold her level and dynamic positioning lets her sit in place without setting an anchor at all, useful over a reef or a crowded mooring field. The hardtop opens electrically over the flybridge, and a hydraulic stern platform lowers to the water for swimming or launching a tender.

Estia lies in Liguria, Italy, where Boatcrowd arranges a viewing and is there for it. If an offer is accepted, a survey and sea trial follow before anything is final. Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
