About Tolemai
Sanlorenzo built Tolemai in 2023, and two names sit behind her design: Zuccon for the interiors, Sanlorenzo's own naval architects for the hull and layout beneath them. At 44 metres and 498 gross tons, she carries that pedigree into a six-cabin, twelve-guest yacht with a crew of nine to run her.
Build and provenance
She has a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, she is built to commercial-compliance standards rather than private registration alone. That distinction matters at resale as much as at purchase: a commercially certified hull carries a paper trail a buyer's surveyor will want to see.
Layout and accommodation
Six cabins sleep twelve guests: two VIP staterooms and two twin cabins, one of them convertible and fitted with a Pullman berth, plus a separate cabin for children, all set below the owner's deck. That upper deck belongs entirely to the owner, with a suite, a private lounge and a view forward and aft that the cabins below do not share. A crew of nine keeps a table of twelve running without anyone noticing the effort.
Performance and engineering
At sixteen knots flat out, Tolemai is not built for outright pace. Her long-range specification points the other way, toward distance and passage-making rather than short hops between anchorages, a yacht chosen for where she can go rather than how fast she gets there.
On deck and at anchor
An infinity-edge pool set into the aft deck is her clearest signature on deck, open to the water. Forward, a sky lounge gives guests a second gathering space.
Where she lies and how to see her
Tolemai's current berth is confirmed once a buyer is ready to view her. Boatcrowd sets up that viewing and is there for it, and once an offer on her is accepted, we bring in the surveyor and organise the sea trial ahead of handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
