Four MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines turning Rolls-Royce Kamewa waterjets give Utopia IV a 28-knot top speed and a 24-knot cruise, waterjet propulsion on a 63-metre yacht built for pace as much as for range. Rossinavi built her in 2018 and refitted her in 2022; she lies in New York today.
Build and provenance
Rossinavi delivered Utopia IV in 2018 as a custom-built, 63-metre displacement motor yacht on a monohull, and a refit followed in 2022. At 986 gross tonnes she carries real volume for her length. For a buyer, that gives her a more recent maintenance record than her build year alone would suggest.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests are accommodated across six cabins, and a crew of ten look after them, close to a one-to-one ratio that points to full service rather than a lean weekend crew.
Performance and engineering
She measures 63 metres, 206 feet, with an 11-metre beam and a 2.2-metre draft. Waterjet propulsion turns that engine power into speed rather than shaft-driven efficiency, delivering the 24-knot cruise and 28-knot top on a 986-tonne hull.
On deck and at anchor
A beach club opens the stern to the water, and fold-down balconies widen the living space when she is anchored, turning enclosed cabins into open-air rooms with a view.
Where she lies and how to see her
Utopia IV lies in New York. Boatcrowd arranges viewings there and attends them, and once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before handover. She is also in our charter fleet, so a buyer can charter her before deciding to buy.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
