About Queen B Sport
Four cabins for eight guests is a compact plan for a 28-metre sports yacht, one built to spend the day on deck rather than below. Pershing delivered Queen B Sport in 2020, the ninth hull built in the 9X series, with lines from Fulvio De Simoni and naval architecture by Ferretti Group.
Build and provenance
Queen B Sport is RINA classed and built in composite, a sports yacht on a monohull, and at 115 gross tonnes she is light enough for the speed her engines give her. Fulvio De Simoni drew her outside and in, one hand on both the exterior and the interior.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins sleep eight guests, and a crew of four look after them, one crew member for every two guests. On a sports yacht built for speed, the deck is where the day is spent, with the cabins kept for sleeping.
Performance and engineering
Two 2,638 hp MTU 16V 2000 engines take her to a 42-knot top speed and a 38-knot cruise, output built for speed rather than slow passage. Stabilisers under way keep that speed comfortable rather than jarring.
On deck and at anchor
A barbecue and a swimming platform are part of life at anchor, underwater lights turn the water around her into a feature after dark, and sunpads add room to relax between times in the water.
Where she lies and how to see her
Queen B Sport is based in St Martin. Boatcrowd sets up viewings on the island and comes along for them, and once an offer is accepted a surveyor and sea trial follow before the sale completes.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
