Orion Yachts is building her for 2026 delivery, a steel-hulled 44-metre yacht with 450 gross tons to work with. She lies in Altinova, Turkey.
Build and provenance
She is a custom steel monohull from Orion Yachts, her exterior drawn by Red Yacht Design and her interior finished by Minotti to a residential brief rather than a marine one. Classification is Registro Italiano Navale, under a Malta flag. At 450 gross tons over 44 metres, Orion One carries more enclosed volume than her length alone implies, the kind of build that puts space ahead of outright speed.
Layout and accommodation
Five cabins sleep twelve guests, the Owner's Stateroom set forward on the main deck and finished with a private fold-down balcony, turning a bedroom into a private deck of its own. Two double cabins and two twin cabins, each with Pullman options, complete the lower deck. Nine crew run the boat, a ratio that points to attentive, close service rather than a stretched team covering every job twice.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,450 hp Caterpillar C32 engines give Orion One a 12-knot cruise and a 15-knot top speed, figures that mark her as a displacement yacht built to cover ground steadily rather than plane across it. Stabilisers work both at anchor and under way, holding her level whether she is moving or sitting still off an anchorage. Two Caterpillar generators rated at 86 kW, plus one more at 51 kW, keep the systems running independent of the main engines.
On deck and at anchor
A jacuzzi on deck and WiFi throughout are the fixed points of life at anchor, set inside a flybridge with lounge space and a foredeck kept for sunbathing.

Orion One lies in Altinova, Turkey. Boatcrowd is the point of contact for every viewing and is present at each one, and after an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before anything is finalised.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
