About Gusto II
Two systems do most of the work of owning Gusto II: a generator that keeps her hotel loads running at anchor, and stabilisers that hold her steady once the anchor is down. Ocean Alexander built her as the 90 Sky Lounge in 2016, a 90-foot flybridge motor yacht based in Fort Lauderdale, and her equipment list reads like it was chosen for an owner who wants fewer things to manage rather than more to show off.
Build and provenance
Gusto II is the Sky Lounge version of Ocean Alexander's 90-foot flybridge series, built in 2016. The model name marks her out: she carries a Sky Lounge along with the open flybridge.

Gusto II carries a Sky Lounge and a flybridge for entertaining, along with the main salon.
Performance and engineering
Twin Caterpillar C-32 diesels power Gusto II, backed by bow and stern thrusters for close-quarters handling and a crane for launching her tender without help from a dock crew. Zero speed stabilisers hold her level at anchor as well as under way, the kind of system an owner notices most on a still night at anchor rather than under power.
On deck and at anchor
A jacuzzi and a barbecue are built into her deck plan, giving guests a reason to stay aboard through the evening rather than going ashore for dinner. A generator keeps the air conditioning and galley running through a long day at anchor without a return to the dock.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
