An on-deck owner's suite is the detail that shapes South C's II: rather than send the owner below with the guests, her layout puts a full-beam master at deck level and a second full-beam cabin underneath, drawn by the designer Evan K Marshall. Ocean Alexander delivered her in 2022 on the yard's 27R series, at 27 metres and 118 gross tonnes.
Build and provenance
She is built in GRP, hull and superstructure both, on the 27R series, the model line behind her build. Custom shelving in the engine room keeps servicing straightforward, a detail that matters once a yacht is a few years into ownership. At 88 feet and 27 metres, South C's II carries 118 gross tonnes, useful volume for her length.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, split between the deck-level owner's suite, the lower full-beam master, and two further guest cabins, each with its own ensuite. A crew of three looks after her. A dedicated storage room in the guest corridor adds capacity alongside the four cabins.
Performance and engineering
She cruises at ten knots, a pace built for calm coastal water and short hops between anchorages rather than fast open-water passages.
On deck and at anchor
The flybridge carries an outdoor bar and additional deck space, a place for guests to gather rather than just pass through to the helm. Aft, a glass-enclosed beach club opens through a sliding door close to the waterline, and a hydraulic swim platform eases boarding from a tender.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
