About South C's
Two full-beam master suites, one on the main deck and one below, anchor the layout of South C's before a buyer reaches the guest cabins. Ocean Alexander delivered her in 2023 as hull number three of the 27R, and a storage room built into the guest corridor carries the same attention through to daily living aboard. Four cabins in total sleep eight guests, with two further staterooms completing the guest count.
Build and provenance
She is hull number three of Ocean Alexander's 27R, delivered in 2023 with the yard's new-generation pilothouse option, which stretches the flybridge into a full entertaining deck with its own outdoor bar. No refit is recorded since delivery, so the specification a buyer inspects is the one she left the yard with. Her engines, generator and the hydraulic systems that run the thrusters, windlass, stabilisers and swim platform have all had recent servicing, and the exterior carries a professional ceramic coating.
Layout and accommodation
The on-deck master and the full-beam suite below give South C's two owner-grade cabins, with two further guest staterooms, all ensuite, completing four cabins for eight guests. The storage room in the guest corridor, fitted with built-in shelving, keeps gear out of the living spaces during a long cruise. Two crew cabins sit aft, apart from the guest corridor, housing a crew of four.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,650 hp MAN engines power South C's, with bow and stern thrusters for close-quarters work and stabilisers to hold the ride level under way. A generator keeps hotel systems running once she is anchored, and two Jet Skis round out the equipment for days spent off the boat as much as on her.
On deck and at anchor
On deck and at anchor, the glass-enclosed beach club opens through a sliding door onto the swimming platform, putting the water a few steps from the saloon. The flybridge's outdoor bar keeps entertaining above deck as straightforward as it is below.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
